Shattuckite "Livingston MT" bracelet
A collage of turquoise, teal and charcoal in this Shattuckite stone along with the shape and the picture work I've formed around it reminds of the steep mountains visible in it's namesake town, Livingston, Montana. The stone setting and balls are fine silver along with the thinner 'mountain' strips along the edges. The base and all the handmade links and clasp are sterling silver. Mokume gane (wood grain in Japanese, copper/silver) accents on of the mountains within the framework. This piece is lightly oxidized and will develop a darker patina over time which should be lovely and unique.
The center piece is formed in my signature style that combines a cuff look with the security of a bracelet. One of a kind. Stone was cut locally in Livingston by an expert lapidarist (can you tell I admire his craftsmanship)!
Tip to tip length is 8"
2 1/2" front cuff including the curve
1 1/2" tall x 1 1/4"wide front piece (not including rounded cuff)
